KLARA GOLITSYNA
 
The artist Klara N. Golitsyna was born on December 5, 1925 in Moscow.
In 1949 she graduated from the Moscow Polygraphic Institute (art and editorial faculty), received a diploma of a book artist and left for distribution in Stalinabad (Dushamba), where she worked as an artist in the Tajik State Publishing House (TajikGosIzdat). Two years later, in 1951, she returned to Moscow and married Ivan Vladimirovich Golitsyn (1902-1980), the actor of the drama theater
In 1962, Ivan Golitsyn left the theater and Klara Golitsyna got a job as an artist in Central Design Bureau of I.V. Chelomey to illustrate space projects.
In 1982, Clara left the institute and became a freelance artist.
 
Nowadays Klara Golitsyna is a member of the Moscow Union of Artists and a member of the Professionally-Creative Union of Artists and Graphics (a member of the UNESCO International Federation of Arts).
 
Collections of paintings are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum and the Moscow Museum of Modern Art.
