Born on 18 January, 1991, Moscow
From 2002 till 2009 she studied at Moscow Academic Art Lyceum. From 2009 till 2015 she studied at the Moscow Academic Institute named after V.I. Surikov, Faculty of Graphics. In 2012, she won the Grant "Vincenzo Bianchi and Students of the World" and passed creative practice in Italy. In 2014, she was awarded the gratitude of the Russian Academy of Arts for participating in the exhibition of creative works as part of the week of foreign cultures in Paris.
Alyona’s work is concentrated on feminist discourse. The artist’s field of study is reflection on a woman, her self-identity and place in the modern world. Alyona Fedotkina reveals the gender problem by creating a fantastic utopian world and determining role of women in it.
The main means of self-expression for the artist is painting, graphics and installation.
